• Note*: She and her husband lived and farmed southwest of Cainsville, Missouri for sixty years before retiring and moving to Bethany, Missouri, where she lived at Crestview Care Center for the last three years of her life. She was a member of Cainsville Christian Church. Survivors included her husband and six nieces. From her obituary in the St. Joseph News Press: "Kathleen loved to entertain; she was an excellent cook who enjoyed hosting her family and friends; you were always a welcome guest in her home and would most likely find yourself in a competitive game of cards or playing dominos. Kathleen was a caring, humble, hard working farm wife."⁶
