• Death*: He died on 11 December 1979 in Chester County Hospital, West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania, at age 64.⁵
• Burial*: Interment was on 13 December 1979 in Mount Hope Cemetery, 4022 Concord Road, Aston, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.^6,7

• Note*: • He lived in Claymont, Delaware until 1976. He retired as an employee of the Sun Oil Co.'s Marcus Hook refinery in 1972, after 32 years, and at the time of his death had worked in the security department at Longwood Gardens since 1976. Survivors included his wife, three step-daughters, a sister, three brothers, his stepmother, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  • His newspaper obituary gives 11 Dec 1979 as his death date, but his tombstone has 10 Dec 1979.^8,9,10

• Note*: • She was the second elected vestrywoman at Trinity Episcopal Church in Moorestown, New Jersey, a member of Cooper Hospital Women’s Auxiliary of Moorestown, past chairman of Moorestown Friends Exchange, a board member of the Naval Officers Wives Club of Washington, D.D., a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the National Symphony Orchestra, a member of the Navy Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the National Association of the Junior Leagues of America.

  • In the Korean Conflict, he served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps.
  • He was a clinical professor of pathology at the University of Connecticut, an associate clinical professor of pathology at Yale Medical School, Director of Laboratories at Charlotte Hungerford Hospitall in Torrington, Connecticut from 1977 to 1996, and Director of Connecticut Dermatopathology Laboratory from 1977 to 2000.
  • He resided in the Winchester, Connecticut area from 1978 until his death and before that in Hartford, Connecticut.
  • Survivors included a daughter and son-in-law, three grandchildren, and a sister.⁴
