• Obituary*: "Funeral in Denison—Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Curry have returned from Denison, Ia., where they attended the funeral of his brother, the late Thomas J. Curry, Tuesday. Mr. Curry died suddenly last Saturday, following a heart attack, which he suffered while in his apartment in a Denver hotel. W. A. Curry, with his brother, John Curry, of Seward, left for Denver Saturday and accompanied the body to Denison, Ia., where the funeral services were held at the Catholic church at 10 a. m. Tuesday. Rev. Fr. Bradley, pastor of the church, officiated, and burial was made in St. Rose of Lima cemetery by the side of his father, the late Anthony T. Curry. Thomas Curry was born near Vail, Ia., on June 16, 1885. He was employed in a clothing store in Denison for a time and later was engaged for several years in the clothing business in Nebraska in association with his brothers, the firm operating stores at Seward and Columbus. He had charge of the Columbus store for a short time about 10 years ago. He made his home in Denver since 1924, and was the owner and manager of the Western Sales and Auction company there. Besides his two brothers, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. A. T. Curry, of Denison; and four sisters, Mrs. V. C. Peckinpaugh, and Mrs. M. J. Rosbuerg, of Hinton, Ia., Mrs. A. B. Brown and Miss Clara Curry, of Denison."⁷
