He and Milly moved to Cooper County, Missouri about 1820, and the 1850 census showed him living in Boonville, Cooper County, Missouri. By 1858 he was living in Mendocino County, California, where he probably had moved as a widower. In 1871 he was granted a monthly pension of $8.00.6
